How The Metro Boutique Started

Hi everyone,

I am Sarah, the founder of The Metro Boutique located in Chocolate Town, USA (aka Hershey, Pennsylvania).

As college life ended and graduation approached, I struggled to find my next step. I had distant dreams and long-term goals; but, my immediate future remained unclear. After graduation I was fortunate to explore Europe for some time and fell even more in love with fashion and style.

Upon returning, endless job searching resulted in possibilities for which I had no genuine passion in. I knew what I loved (fashion & connecting with others) and my hobbies (shopping, finding timeless staples for my closet & Pinterest) but didn’t think I would find a job that involved all of those things— it would be too good to be true.

One day in September of 2018, I randomly mentioned to my BFF, my long-term goal of opening an online clothing store. He simply looked at me and said, “Why not start now?” Within a week I was in meetings filling out paperwork and gathering my licenses to start my dream. A couple of months later, The Metro Boutique officially opened.

My goals for The Metro Boutique are to offer a variety of classic yet fashion forward clothing and accessories for the forever young girl. Our products are timeless closet staples that work season after season while always creating a polished and up-to-date look.
